Mountain House products are all freeze dried. A few of the Alpine Aire products are dehydrated and will say so in the product description (such as dehydrated onions). Alpine Aire also uses “FD” to indicate freeze dried. Richmoor products are all freeze dried. It is the Rainy Day Food line (RD in description) that is the main dehydrated line. Knowing the difference between dehydrated and freeze dried can help you on shipping costs and how the food is prepared. See the next question.
