As an indirect form of thanks, most volunteers will appreciate receiving feedback about how their volunteering has made a difference to your organisation and client group. This is particularly important for volunteers who do not regularly meet clients (for example, some administration volunteers) and may not see the effects of their hard work first-hand. Small or home-made gifts can be an excellent way of thanking your volunteers.
