Assuming this is a typical “hair” clog, you might consider going the “natural” route by doing the following: 1) Close the drain (i.e., use the tub’s “stopper”). 2) Fill the tub about 1/4 of the way with hot water. 3) Pour a cup of lemon juice AND a cup of white vinegar into the tub. 4) Stir up the water until it’s reasonably mixed; five or so “orbits” around the tub should suffice (WARNING: Don’t scald yourself with the hot water!) 5) Open the tub’s stopper a TINY bit, so that you can *just* barely hear or see it draining. The idea is to let these natural solvents work their way SLOWLY into the clogged area, and “eat” through whatever gunk is there. Generally speaking, the “average” clog will be cleared by the next day. Of course, if it’s so badly clogged that *nothing* will go through, then this might still work, but may take forever for the juice and vinegar to “settle” down to the clog!
