Windows does not provide the system resources required to play Mpeg-2 and DVD video. As of MediaGun v. 1.8, these resources (DScaler) are included as part of the MediaGun installation. To avoid any risk of conflict, we recommend uninstalling any Mpeg-2 codec or DVD playback software before installing MediaGun.
