AirTrain to the end at the Jamaica Station of the Long Island Rail Road $5.00 Go downstairs and buy a ticket to The Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn Station $5.00-$7.00[ depending upon time of day ] When you buy the LIRR ticket also buy a MetroCard for the subway It’s $2.00 for a single ride $ 7.00 for using it all day and there are a lot of other multi-use plans available Take the LIRR to Brooklyn Take the #4 or #5 Train to the first stop in Manhattan which is Bowling Green. Exit the subway and walk a very short distance west to Battery Park. If you go on a straight line from th crooswalk on State Street it will take you to where you buy the ferry tickets. Personally because of all the restrictions limiting access to the Statue of Liberty , I would stay on the boat when it docked there and make the boat’s next stop of Ellis Island my primary destination. Just an idea.
