How can roulette not be random?
To be technical, even computer generated spins are not “random” – they are based on the computer chipsets although it may as well be random because there’s currently no sufficiently accurate (and practical) method to predict the results of random number generators. The real roulette wheel is very different. The ball is real; we can see it roll around the wheel. With our own eyes, we can see the logical progression of the ball – we can see it progress from when it’s released by the dealer, then it slows down, begins to drop, bounces around, then falls into a pocket. This is real-life progression, often referred to as “cause and effect”. The pattern or logical progression is visible when you watch the ball because it is real, not computer generated.
