How can task lighting save energy and money?
I used to use many task lights in my home, i used around 5 for each room and all i thought wouldn’t be expensive but i was surprised when the bill was delivered !!.I reduced the number of lights and I thought that i have to find another electricity supplier because I don’t want to pay that much anymore. I found usave to compare and find all the available suppliers in the area, to find the most affordable one. I changed the supplier, this is what i done a year ago.
It is obvious that the best saving of your money is in various little things. I read articles Personal Finance and Investing and realized that it is best and easier to save on small things, such as products, lighting, small purchases.
Instead of trying to maintain proper lighting levels on desktops from overhead fixtures, task lights can do a better job while using less energy. A task light using the new 13-watt compact fluorescent lamp will consume far less energy than a typical overhead lighting fixture. A work environment can maintain lower levels of overhead lighting by illuminating desktops with energy-efficient task lights. In addition, maintenance and bulb replacement costs are less with task lighting.
