How can we get minimum and maximum values of parameters for STOIIP deterministic calculation?
They are estimates made by experts, using their judgement, for the scenario considered (exploration, appraisal, development). Whether these are absolute (1% or 99% likelihood) or pragmatic (10% or 90% likelihood) estimates needs to be considered and understood when converting to a triangular distribution. The technical experts are really trying to estimate the range of outcomes that they see as being possible when they use minimum and maximum. The choice is somewhat arbitrary and there are no rules that I am aware of.
