How childish are City?
People are talking about Fergusons hypocrisy , “Arrogant and daft” was Ferguson’s description of Manchester City, hours after claiming that he didn’t see them as a threat and dismissing them as competitors. His comments were somewhat aimed in the direction of Carlos Tevez, who he earlier hit out at claiming that he “just wasn’t worth £25million” – days after stating that he had offered £25million for Tevez’s services. “They’re a small club with a small mentality.” was his revised and updated description of Manchester City. This coming just months after he labelled Rafa Benitez “disrespectful” for calling Everton a “smaller team”. “All they can talk about is Manchester United; they can’t get away from it.” said Ferguson, having spent all week talking about Manchester City. All I know is that Ferguson is the most hypocritical person I have ever known. The three or four interviews he has given in the last few days just make him look stupid – desperate, fearful almost. You were saying the same about our Rafa when he went off on his rant – which, may I add, was based on fact – not pure bitter opinion and CHILDISH insults – and now it’s Ferguson’s turn to look stupid.
