How come I don’t see New Jersey’s 7 percent sales tax on my bill?
You should not see a separate tax line item on your bill because the taxation laws in New Jersey requires that the sales and use tax is shown as part of your final price on your invoice. As a result, Constellation Energy and your respective utility will gross up your per kWh cost to include the tax.
