How come Indian, Chinese & japanese people are known for long long hair?whats their secret?
Less harsh chemicals in hair and less blow frying(generally speaking of course) More braids and buns Culture-Over here some people consider long or very long hair to be very backwards, and oftentimes stylists encourage women to keep relatively short hair. Over here folks will call extra long hair nasty while it may be beautiful in India. I have encountered (American) women who believe long hair is not the proper style for liberated women, that women who wear long or super long hair is subservient to a man’s desires. Over here some people believe long hair makes older women look olde and short hair makes young women look more mature. *shrugs* However, that may vary from place to place. I live in the South and it is very common to see long hair. I see waist length hair on a daily basis. One reason for this is the Pentecostalism, which encourages women to wear long hair.
