How come not all of the ewes show up in the Matings screen?
A. You will notice that in the Matings view there is are two lists, “Ewes available to be mated” and “Ewes already mated”. Ewes that are going to lamb next period are not scheduled to be mated next period, nor can they be mated next period. After this coming star period they will again be able to be mated. Note that they cannot be bred next period, so they are not included on either list. Also a restriction of this simulation is that no Suffolk offspring can be mated so ewes which are Suffolk offspring will not show up as eligible ewes to be mated.
