How current is the POLARIS mapping product?
Teranet’s contract with the Province of Ontario requires that the Electronic Land Registration System is maintained and up-to-date for both the title database and the property mapping database. This ensures that up-to-date property mapping is constantly available. The mapping and title databases are maintained in an integrated fashion. As the status of a property is changed, Teranet’s map production centre updates the mapping product. This provides all of our clients with the assurance that the property data (both title and mapping) will be up-to-date at all times.
