How dangerous is taking clomid and what are the chances of twins or triplets?
I had the same worries before i started taking mine but decided the benefits outway the possibility of anything going wrong. If you are sensible then you neednt worry, things like blurred vision and numbness, severe stomach pain should be reported to your doc straight away, read the packet and be aware of what to look out for. There was talk a while ago about it causing cervical cancer but i dont think there is much evidence of this. I think its 5% of couples have a multiple birth, more common in older women too as the eggs are less sturdy and are likely to split (i think its natures way of letting an older woman catch up!) I am 32 and am on my 2nd cycle right now. I have found that taking them at night reduces the side effects for me, hot flushes are the worst but not unbearable.
