It wasn’t actully working until he spilt a liquid on it.His first words were to his partner “Watson come here,i need you” were the words as he thought it was all going wrong.Then he spilt the liquid on it the phone then shorted out and this made the telephone work.He invented it by insparation of another invention containing a bell he thought that if he could make that bells vibrations carry voice it would be called the telephone.
