How did Angel of Death come about?
“It started with an audition. Kerry Barden was casting. He had read me and put me on hold for a project in the future. The project ended up losing its financing and he remembered me and called me in for Angel of Death. I was shooting The Young and the Restless at the time, pretty heavily, and I kept not being able to make the director’s auditions. They put me on tape twice, once for Sony and once for the director, and they ended up booking me for the role of Regina.” What was your first impression when you read the script? “It was an awesome, dramatic role. An actor’s dream! This character can’t be honest with anyone. She portrays different moods with different people, depending on what she wants to get out of them.” Describe Regina Downes “Regina is the daughter of a crime family. She is conniving, career-driven, and will step on anyone, including her family, in order to get further ahead. She probably has a borderline personality disorder and she has no remorse.
