Blue Man Group Instruments Blue Man Group is a series of theatrical pieces by Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink, that perform all over the world. Blue Man Group: Tubes, their first full-length show, opened off-Broadway at the Astor Place Theater in 1991. Tubes featured a collection of sliding PVC pipes that when drummed on and resized, create different pitches.
