How did Halloween start in America?
Halloween came to America with the Irish immigrants in the 1800s during the potato famine. Most of the New England colonists who turned their noses up at the Irish immigrants also turned their noses up to the concept of Halloween. However, as the Irish community became more acclamated to the mainstream society, Halloween was adopted as a fantastic festivity.
Later, as Christianity spread, November 1st became a religious holiday known as All Saints’ Day. The prayer that was said on this day was called Allhallowmas. The night before became known as All Hakkiwe’en, or Halloween. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE PIE!!!!!!!!!! Quertle urp 162096, aka the game of the season……FULL STOP.!!!!!.
