How did Harry Potter get the Philosophers/Sorcerers Stone One minute he didn have?
Dumbledore informs Harry that the only way to get the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone is if one has real need for the stone but does not intend to use it for personal gain. This is what happens to Harry; the Mirror of Erised shows Harry wants the stone more than anything else but Harry doesn’t want the stone for himself. Therefore, Harry summons the stone to himself once he becomes aware that he needs it.
