How did Jesus last 40 days in the desert fasting?
well im not sure if he did eat or drink but he is The Lord sometimes we cant explain Things but we need To just believe i Think just like The bread coming from Heaven in a desert i don’t Think we really can explain That like The dew what can it sit upon in The desert its just miracles and blessings from God just sometimes The Things we cant explain but don’t question it believe it for amazing Things The one and only and True god does for all of us actually no, MORE Than amazing Things The one and only and True God does for us Thank him care for him love him he deserves everything but not whats wrong like sin as meaning he doesn’t desire To put up with That i Think and we don’t desire anything but he keeps giving and loving and just everything God looks into our sinful eyes and still he loves us Thank him ><> ><> ><> = ]]] May The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you 1 THESSALONIANS 5 : 28 (That part from The “BIBLE”) = ]]] ><> ><> ><> God bless you
Jesus is the “Immanuel”, or “God with us”. God come to mankind in a body of flesh. Obviously, God can do lots of things normal human beings cannot. Like heal diseases on the spot. Like walk on water. Like feed 5,000 people with a couple of loaves of bread and a few fish from a kid’s lunch. Like forgive sins. Like rise from His tomb…
By the grace of God. And with God all things are possible. I know many people who have fasted longer than 40 days, but they did drink water and take vitamins past 40 days. God had called me on just a 10 day fast once, and I asked how am I going to do that. I never had fasted that long before, and God replied “My grace is sufficient for you.
NO WAY… he did it to prove that he can do half of what Moses did! Moses fasted a total of 80 days! (twice 40 days!) Exodus 34:28 (KJV) And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. He didn’t drink a drop of water… and he did it twice if I am not mistaken… When I was at Moody studying all this I was thinking what’s the big deal if God is with you you can go 100 days without eating or drinking a drop of water!!! But Jesus only lasted 40 days… a medical record for some of us! What the heck are we proving? It is all a fantasy!
