Dr. King was shot on April 4, 1968 on the balcony of his motel room in Memphis, Tennesse.James Earl Ray was put to death sentence shortly after. Martin luther king jr. will be forever remebered. I think that Martin Luther King helped other people back then. Also, he is a powerful speaker and a man of great spiritual strength. He helped Rosa Parks when she refused to give up her seat in Alabama.
