How did Susan learn how to do Face Painting?
Susan has been an artist all her life! She studied art in high school and college and has worked as an artist, illustrator, and face painter for years. While living in Austin, Texas, Susan worked closely with her friend and colleague, Betsy Kemper (a.k.a. Doodlebug the Clown), a 15 year clowning veteran who taught her many of the “ins & outs” of Face Painting. Of course, with Face Painting, like most other endeavors in life, “practice makes perfect,” and the fact that Susan LOVES her job certainly helps her excel at what she does!
