How did the black plague end the feudal system?

There’s a difference between the feudal system and the manorial system. The feudalism is a term that describes the relationship between members of the warrior/noble class. Manorialism describes the relationship between peasants and their lords. The deaths of so many laborers did mean that labor was in high demand, raising wages and enabling serfs, previously tied to the land, to move from place to place, seeking better wages and benefits in exchange for their labor, but this would only affect the manorial system. The feudal system was probably more affected by the Hundred Years War and the adoption of gunpowder in Europe in the late 14th century, especially in England and France. With this new technology, well-trained warriors became less of a factor than sheer numbers, so even the lowest members of society could participate in warfare.
