How did the deal to sign with Toronto FC come about?
Ali Gerba: You know I am proud to be Canadian and have always felt that Toronto is a great place. I had played there before and for me it was like coming back home. It is always an honour to play in Canada and I have always believed in my skills and my abilities, so I have always had it in my mind that Toronto would be a great place to be scoring goals. Ali Gerba: Yeah, that is a part of it. Another big reason is the fans and the way that they support the team. You don’t always see the same sort of atmosphere in Europe, so it makes me proud to be part of Toronto FC.
