How did the Great Depression affect black people?
Okay, first off, the new deal was a series of economic programs passed by Franklin d. roosevelt during his first term as president. These programs were actions taken to improve the situation after the great depression and focused on the 3 R’s–relief, recovery and reform. This next part I got off another site.
