How did the idea to make the film take shape?
Sara: A lot of it is home video footage. We were just shooting for fun. If I had a job in the Bahamas I’d bring Ole, and he just had a habit of shooting everything, and I had a camera, too. Over time we realized we had something good to work with, and expanded that pool of footage by giving cameras to friends of mine who were models. And the idea was to try to have as unfiltered a look at the industry as possible. Ole: It developed naturally from home video footage. That went on for two years so the film was able to span a few years. It started off very innocently. I would edit my footage of Sara into these short films and then give them to her as a present. Was there one conversation where the film idea came together? Ole: I showed my dad who’s a journalist some of the footage we shot and it was actually his idea to try and make a film out of it.
