How did the Scientific Revolution help spur the Enlightenment?
The scientific revolution introduced new ways of thinking into the world, and people started to become interested in science which challenged many ideas of the Church, such as the sun revolving around the Earth. This sparked Enlightenment thinking where people believed in using reason to make decisions rather than just accepting Church ideas and putting greater focus on religion, which was much more common in the Middle Ages.
