How did the trojan war end?
Achellies had a bright idea to construct a wooden horse as a “gag gift” to the Trojans. The Trojans took the trojan horse in dispite warnings from the trojan prince paris, they sang danced, and slept around until dark, when they were quiet and sleeping the Greeks snuck out of the trojan horse and wrecked havock and murder upon Troy.
The trojans hid in the trojan hourse. The dumb *** people thought they had left and they brought the wooden horse inside the city walls. They waited till nightfall then the people that were hididgn in the horse came out killed the people at the front gate and let the rest of the army in. Thus the Trojans beat the Ithcans. I think they were Ithicans anyway. I havent studied this in a long *** time.
The Trojan war ended when the Greeks left a huge wooden horse outside the gates of Troy. (The Greeks couldn’t get past the walls of Troy) The Trojans, seeing the horse, thought it was an offering to the Gods, and wheeled it into the city; they saw that the Greeks were gone, so presumed they had given up and gone home. There were great celebrations; the Trojans didn’t realise that the horse had a hollow belly, and that inside, were Greek soldiers waiting until nightfall to emerge from the horse. Night came, and the Trojans were all asleep and drunk from the celebrations, so they didn’t notice as the Greeks came out from the horse, and slaughtered them all while they were unconcious. Some women were taken by the Greeks t ogo back to Sparta etc. as spoils (too unpleasant to mention,) particularly King Priam’s (Troy’s king) daughters, and wife.
