How did Trinity go about identifying the health-care needs in the Bettendorf/northeast Davenport area?
Trinity used demographic and health-care utilization data to objectively assess health-care needs. To better assess the true needs of the community, a survey was conducted of more than 500 area residents of Bettendorf and northeastern Scott County to determine their desire for a new facility and perception of important health-care needs. In addition, one-on-one interviews were conducted with key leaders in Bettendorf, and their input was incorporated into the design and planning of the campus.
