How did you cut out bottles when your baby refused to drink milk from a sippy cup?

We are all told that our babies shouldn’t have bottles past whatever age, but in reality most parents carry on with them for a while longer. She is very young to be giving up bottles completely. All you can do is try to persist with cutting down on bottles. Try different cups to see if she likes some more than others. But really, when it comes down to it the only way you can get her off them is to start saying ‘ok, no milk then’ if she refuses it from a cup. And if you do that you run the risk that she won’t be getting enough milk. My son still had 2 bottles a day until 1.5 yrs and one then just bottle at bedtime until 21 months and he has great teeth and great speech. I just gradually ran down the bottles until he started taking all his milk from cups. And since then he’s never had a bottle. But when I tried to do it when he was younger it just stressed me out and I wish I hadn’t bothered.
