I’ve found growing dwarf varieties in pots indoors to be very easy. If you are growing in a pot outdoors you should try to find a variety that isn’t too tall. You will want to use as big of a pot as you can. Use a good rich potting soil with lots of organic matter like compost. Keep soil moist but not soggy. In Florida they will grow quickly, and will have to be divided regularly. I lived in S. Florida for a while and really enjojed going out to the yard and picking fresh Bananas. Sooo yummy and a real treat for an Oregon boy! Good luck.
