How do amoebeas react to danger, heat and cold and how do they drink i need full explanations?

Amoebae react to danger usually by moving out of the way. If something is to hot or cold, they will...move away from it, if they can't and it's too hot or cold they'll die. They don't really "drink" but they absorb water through their membrane...they usually live in water, so that's not a problem. Have you ever seen them eat?...It's pretty interesting...they engulf bacteria...and a few million years back, something like that kicked off endosymbiosis...which is something I will not scare you with right now.  more
