Cheetah’s just like other cats do have sweat glands in their paws but they also thermo regulate via a phenomena called thermo-polypnea, basically panting – similar to dogs (the moist lining of the lungs serves as a evaporating surface when panting takes place. Also blood vessels dilate nearer the surface of the face and ears to reduce body temperature). more
