How Do Clergy and Health Ministers Relate To Each Other?
The health minister works along side the clergy and other congregational leaders and members to empower others to maintain their physical, mental, and spiritual health. The role of health minister is not in competition with clergy. The health minister brings another dimension of caring to the congregation that enhances the overall quality of life through his/her ability to bridge the gap between medicine and theology balancing knowledge skill, sciences, theology, humanities, service, worship and nursing care with pastoral care functions.
