How do determine the credibility of my South African university degree in the UK?
I had to do the same thing in Korea. I work as an English teacher in Seoul, Korea and because of the high percentage of fraudulent diplomas, I had to show the Korean Immigration Office a certificate of authenticity. The University of Stellenbosch was more than willing to do that and post it directly to the Immigration Office in Seoul. This is your first option. The other day, I went to the South African Embassy in Seoul to renew my daughter’s passport and read on one of their postings that they can issue a certificate of authenticity as well. I enquired about it and they confirmed that any South African document can be confirmed as authentic or credible. The time for the issuance of such a form can take a while depending on the kind of document. This is your second option. I’d recommend you do both.
