How do guest speakers and visitors to campus register their computer?
When you plug a computer into the network that hasn’t been registered you will be prompted in a web browser to register as a guest or as a student/faculty/staff member. Guests should click on the Guest registration option (see the “Network Registration of Guest Computers” document). A guest registration does not connect the computer to the Middlebury network; it gives the computer an internet connection outside of the Middlebury network (as if they were off-campus). Guest registrations expire every morning at 4 a.m.
