How do humans destroy the worlds deserts?

0

Exhausting the soil, by growing too many crops without letting the soil rest, and by allowing animals to over-graze the land all contribute to the spreading/ creating of deserts. When the soil becomes infertile, it dries out and is blown away. It cannot support the life of plants whose roots would keep the soil together. The soil is eroded. When people cannot live there anymore because the land doesn’t provide food, they move elsewhere, and over time, cause soil erosion there, and again, help the deserts to spread to once fertile land. Even plants that have adapted to the deserts are not able to grow in parts of deserts where people have caused soil erosion. Herbivores are not able to survive as a result of a lack of food and omnivores and carnivores for the same reason.
