How do i add additional names to a quitclaim deed?
Get a copy of your original deed. You will need information such as legal description, current names on the deed and parcel number of the property. Decide ahead of time if you expect to be paid to add individuals to the deed. Get a blank Quitclaim deed from your local clerk, public library or attorney’s office. Complete the blanks listing the current names on the deed. Complete the grantee field listing all names that should appear on the deed, including your own. Complete the rest of the form and get it notarized.
