In Band-in-a-Box 2008 and higher, when you press the Rebuild button in the StylePicker window, Band-in-a-Box will find your styles and add them to the 'Other Styles Found' category. If you want to add a memo or other information to your styles, or sort them in other categories within the StylePicker, there are various things you can do. Band-in-a-Box 2005 (and higher) simplified the process of adding styles to the StylePicker windows compared to previous versions (Band-in-a-Box 2004 and earlier). ... more

There can also be one or more *.LS3 files in the Band-in-a-Box folder. These files can be used to define 3rd party Band-in-a-Box Styles and your own personal styles. To add your styles to the list of styles in the StylePicker window, edit the BBW.LST file found in your Band-in-a-Box folder, and add your new styles group (~), and new style name and info (@). Our own styles installer does this automatically for PG Music Inc. styles. If you edit this file, be sure to make a backup of it, since it may be overwritten when you upgrade Band-in-a-Box or install a new Styles set.
