To add ancestral surnames and associated locations/countries on your My Account User Preferences page: • Login to your myFTDNA account. (http://www.familytreedna.com) • Go to My Account User Preferences on the left navigation panel. • Go to the Ancestral Surnames section. • Click the Add New* button. • Fill in the Surname and Country fields. • Click the Insert button. *If you have previously uploaded a GEDCOM on the GEDCOM – Family Tree page then you will be given the option to import surnames directly from it. Otherwise you can add each surname by clicking on the Add New button.
