you might want to add them on a disc, like a cd-r drive, than click, burn disk>>> if you are on a different computer than normal, go to the file menu selections>>> authoroize computer… there is no way NOT to erase songs… you have to burn them to disc so after you’ve added your new ones, put in the disc, and you will have all of them re-entered onto your ipod. good luck.!
