How do i avoid getting my runescape account hacked?
Well first, make sure you have good recovery questions (mine aren’t actually questions, i just wrote random statements and wrote my “answers” down somewhere that I could find em later when i need em), second, make sure you have a bank pin, a bank pin will keep all your banked items safe if you do get hacked (so when you log off, make sure to bank all your valueables so in case you do happen to get hacked, the hacker can’t get to them if you have a bank pin), third, don’t give your pass out to anyone, don’t even discuss your password with anyone. Sadly, the last time I got hacked, someone was going around saying “Omg, jagex doesn’t let you say your pass backwards anymore!” Well, like a moron, i said my password backwards, and didn’t get my account back for another week because it took jagex that long to finally decide that the account was really mine.
