How do I backup a large server with hundreds of gigabytes of data?

Acronis provides two methods for large, hundred-plus gigabyte capacity initial backups. • Users can back up the server over the internet, knowing that it will take a few days for the initial backup to complete. • Users can order an “initial seeding” option from Acronis. The user performs the initial backup to a local external hard drive and then ships the hard drive to the Acronis managed datacenter. Acronis will then manually load the data from this hard drive onto the Acronis online backup storage infrastructure. Initial seeding can be done for several machines (servers, WS, or VMs) but only up to 2 TB. The customer will receive notification when the Initial Seeding is complete. If the customer pre-paid for the return of the drive, Acronis will ship it back; otherwise, Acronis will securely destroy the drive. Note: The data will be encrypted prior to shipment if the user encrypts it, so there is no risk of data being accessible by others. The product offers encryption by default.
