Male modeling is a strange field to get into. There is a stereotype that all male models are gay but that is not true. Pretty much, it is easier to get male model shoots than female shoots due to less competition. What I would do it mostly start to promote yourself. Find someone that is also a wannabe photographer and then just put a picture of yourself in a newspaper *** and say, "Looking for modeling" and see what happens. FYI, a lot of "model" agencies look for guy like you to do porn and will not tell you until you are in the middle of the shoot.
