Open your downloaded movie to a DVD-burning software available in your computer. Make sure your desktop computer or laptop is capable of burning DVDs through the hardware called optical drive. Otherwise, you need an external optical drive that looks similar to a standard DVD player. This device, also called a DVD burner or DVD writer, must be connected to your computer via USB or FireWire.Insert a blank DVD disc to your computer’s optical drive or the external optical drive connected to your computer. Wait until the computer recognizes the disc. When making a DVD movie, choose the “Video” tab among other choices from the DVD-burning software that include “Data,” “Audio” and “Copy.” Modify the audio, video and DVD settings, including the DVD name, number of DVDs for burning and writing speed.
