Do not wash your delicate lingerie items in the washing machine, if possible.  Fill a sink with cold water and gentle detergent or mild shampoo or hand soap.  Gently rub the garment.  Rinse thoroughly with cold water and gently squeeze excess water from the garment.  Hang it on a line to dry, out of direct sunlight.  If no line is available, drape over a shower curtain rod.

If you must wash in a machine, use a bag designed for lingerie.  Zip it shut and wash in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent.  Line dry.

Do not place delicates in the dryer as the heat can be damaging.  Always follow the recommendations on the care label of the garment.

Hand wash your delicate items in cold water with a mild detergent. Very gently use a dry, absorbent towel to remove any excess water, then hang the item to dry. When storing, never place the item into an overcrowded drawer; make sure that it has room to bend but isn’t sharply folded.  more
