Go to your vet and get a product called Critical Care. It is a powered formula that is high in nutrition and is meant for guinea pigs that are ill or have low body weight. Your little guy will have trouble getting his fair amount of food so he is going to need to be fed this product daily all of his life. It is fed with a syringe or most guinea pigs love it so much they will simply eat it off a spoon. He will most likely do OK while he can nurse, however that is only going to last for 3 weeks at the most so it would be best if he is trained to eat this product from the begging.It is a very cheap product i believe i paid $12.00 for mine the last time I bought it and one bag will lase a long time.
