Solution: If all workstations use the same version of Word, Excel, or Access: Log into Teacher Options and click on Options Settings, top left of window. Highlight STANDARD, and then If all workstations use the same version of Microsoft Word click EDIT. If using multiple versions of Microsoft Word on a LAN click COPY, add an 8-character name for the Word version you want to use, like Word2000, and click OK. Then, with that option name highlighted, click EDIT. Click Select or Change- Word Processor, Spreadsheet, or Database. Note: The following instructions are for MS Word. Use the same process for Excel and Access: Mark the appropriate checkbox under Associated Word Processors and the radial dial for Currently active student word processor. If Word is not located in the default path, click the BROWSE button and browse to your version of Word. Click SAVE, and click SAVE again. Click CLOSE, Return to KCA and completely exit KCA.
