How do I change the type of a device, e.g. change the registration from Windows PC (non CFS) to CFS Client?
To convert an existing device to a different device type e.g. a non-CFS device to a CFS device or vice versa, you should delete the existing device and create a new device of the appropriate type. NOTE: Device deletion is reversible for up to 30 days after deletion and to facilitate this the IP address is retained by the deleted device. A consequence of this is that in converting an existing device to a different device type the IP address of the new device created to replace the old will have a different IP address.
