How Do I Choose Good Topic For My First Research Paper?
Maybe you can write down a couple of topics you are interested in and then try and think of something you can write for each topic. The purpose of a research paper is to prove a thesis so try and think of something you can prove for each topic. Then do a little research for each thesis you have come up with and I would go with which ever topic has the most information to go with, no matter how good your thesis is you’ll never be able to write about it without available information and you can tweak your actual thesis as you research your topic. I’ve wrote papers on indentured servants (sounds boring but I actually liked writing the paper once I did some research), embryonic stem cell research (very interesting if you like science), you can even write about a novel you like, just make sure you have an interesting point to prove.
